My stay was pretty good,, especially when I met this amazing staff member who really helped me out. The breakfast had this great variety, a big surprise that made every morning feel special.

Wasn't exactly wallet-friendly but it was still reasonable, you know.

staying at the shangri-la was fantastic! the breakfast was first-class with a huge selection of european and chinese dishes. the chinese dinner in our private room was an unforgettable experience, filled with so many delicious dishes.

The air conditioning throughout the property leaves a lot to be desired. it was weak in the gym, reminiscent of a sauna, making it quite uncomfortable during workouts. Even in the Deluxe Twin Room, the temperature control fell short of expectations, which was frustrating given the room rate. Additionally, the hotel does not offer currency exchange, relying solely on an ATM with steep fees, which could catch travelers off guard. Lastly, the breakfast leans heavily toward Asian cuisine, limiting options for those preferring a more international selection.

Had a solid experience at this place! The guy at the counter was a superstar, ordering food for me when I arrived late. His name was Chen Jingping, and he made me feel super welcome. The room was pretty nice, but I caught a whiff of smoke that was a bit off-putting. The breakfast spread was also tasty and had great options.

great place for solo travelers

the breakfast had limited options for foreigners, mostly local dishes. but the room was well-equipped with a comfortable bed and air conditioning. the hotel staff were super helpful, and the gym had all the needed equipment, although the ac was a bit off. location near the market was a huge plus.
